The thesis
Portugal Tech Week 2026 (6–15 November) draws thousands of founders, operators, and investors to five cities. Historically the programming has been keynote-and-networking; the physiological reality is 10 days of poor sleep, high cortisol, and low output.
Wellness × Tech is a parallel flagship stream to PTW and Web Summit that uses the momentum in two workstreams per host city: (1) a signature wellness experience — sunrise run club, cold plunge, breathwork lab, recovery room — and (2) a wellness × tech track pairing clinicians, longevity operators, and neurotech founders with the tech crowd already in town.
The goal isn't a "wellness event." It's proving that the tools European tech is building — clinical AI, digital therapeutics, neurotech, metabolic wearables — have a live home in a serious business week, not a spa retreat.
